Grade 2: APT 2017
These are student work samples from my time teaching Grade 2 during my second practicum in winter of 2017. All of my student work has been given with permission, from both guardians and students, and names have been erased. Obviously, some of the worksheets etc scanned here I did not design and do not own the templates. Some of the worksheets I purchased the rights to use in an educational context. The purpose of sharing this is to show you the work my wonderful students created, not to advertise or steal anyone’s work.

This was a project based on Paul Fleischman's book "The Matchbox Diary" and using Google Read & Write to create. This specific one is written by one of my English Language Learner students!
Here I showed students pictured taken with a super high powered microscope. We talked about what it would be like to be as small as a grain of rice. Students wrote stories from there. "If I were the size of a grain of rice I would go into a pot and have fun. I would see bubbles. I would take my shirt off. I would hear pops [of] steam and a whistling tea pot."
